Levi x Reader: After All This Time? (8)

   William was pacing around the room. He was currently debating with himself whether or not he should visit (f/n) this early after returning her to the mortal world. He wasn't sure if he wanted to visit for the cause of checking on her, or he just really wanted to see her. His heart thumped faster just thinking about her. 'What has this woman done to me?' he thought, taking a seat on one of the chairs. What has she done to him?

  He liked her. No, he loved her. All he thought about was her. She could never leave his mind, even if he tried his best. He would often get distracted by the thought of her as well. Was it the looks? The way her shiny hair move when she did. Or when her luscious lips spoke. Her beautiful voice saying his name that he just couldn't get enough of. Or maybe it was the way she treated him. She understood the meaning of loneliness and knew what he felt like. She could empathize with him more than anyone in his whole existence.

Then he remembered, she was married and alive. He could not have her for she belonged with her true family. He sighed sadly. He snapped and a mirror appeared before him. The image he was looking at was (f/n), talking to her daughter and brother.
He smiled at her partially covered face. For he knew the true beauty that was being hidden by those bandages.

 "What was it like being in a coma?" Lexi asked. (f/n) stared off into space,unknowingly towards William as he looked at her from a mirror. 
  
 "It was nice." She answered.
 "Is it true that if you're in a coma, you'll see someone special?" Evan asked. She nodded as William smiled.
 "He was tall, handsome and sweet." She said, as William's heart pumped faster. "He was gentleman too. I wish I could see him again."

William close the mirror and sat there silently. In his place, he was smiling and a blush appeared on his handsome face.
 It was official. Death was in love.

 "Of course you would like to see him again." Evan said, winking. (f/n) turned her head, attempting to hide the very faint blush on her cheeks. She did want to see him. She needed to know more. And at the same time, she enjoyed his company as well. She had never welcomed someone in her life so quickly.

   Evan and Lexi started laughing. A few minutes later, the clock ticked loudly as it read 1:00 p.m. Lexi and Evan had their turns in hugging (f/n) before they left. Somewhere in the building, Levi was waiting.

   Petra had already left, but he still remained there. All he wanted was a chance. A chance to talk to the woman he hurt. So he could at least try to mend their relationship and their family. Then, a voice crept into his head. 'You had the chance to end things with Petra years ago. You will never get (f/n) back', he shook off the voice.

Once he knew that Lexi and Evan had left, he walked to (f/n)'s room.

   William appeared in (f/n)'s room. She was currently sleeping. He thought she looked serene, even in slumber. He walked to the side of her bed. He held her chin between his thumb and pointer. Then he leaned down.

   Levi opened the door, not to alert anyone inside the room. Then he opened it fully. There was a man in a black suit, leaning down and kissing her in her sleep. His eyes widened in anger.

  "Hey you! Get away from my wife!" Levi shouted as the woman on the bed woke up.
